Advances in Research

I, Siba Prasad Mishra, M. Sc (Math, Utkal University), ME (Water Resources, Roorkee) and PhD (Water Resources and Environment), am 63 years old, presently working in the department of Civil Engineering, Centurion University of Technology and Management, Jatni, Bhubaneswar. I have 6 years of experience of Scientific Department of Govt. of India (India Meteorological Dept.) and 30 years of experience in Water Resources Dept., Govt. of Odisha. I have teaching experiences of 10years both in Undergraduates and Post graduate level. As regards my skill I was associated with entire construction of a Hydro-electric Project at Rengali, Odisha and another World Bank Consolidation Project “(Hydro-Biological monitoring of Chilika Lake).” My area of study is water resources, sedimentology, coastal engineering, geohydrology, River engineering, lakes and lagoon, soil, construction Technology and water quality Parameters etc.. I have my research thesis on “Geophysical changes of Chilika lagoon in post Naraj barrage period”.Presently I am actively engaged in teaching undergraduate and Post graduate students. Research work is my fashion. I am guiding post graduate students of different disciplines in their project works.I have my thesis on “Geophysical changes of Chilika lagoon in post Naraj barrage period” I have twenty two publications in different journals; four has been accepted and enlisted for September 2017. Further I have three seminar papers to my credit of national and international repute.My CV is attached for reference. Finally I accept the offer and waiting for confirmation.
